WHAT: The 48 Hour filmSPARK Challenge is a race to complete a film from start to finish in exactly 48 hours!
WHEN: The 48 Hour filmSPARK Challenge begins Friday, September 9, at 8:30 pm and ends Sunday,
September 11, at 8:30 pm. This is the “Official 48 Hour Time Period.”
WHERE: Filming is allowed anywhere you can travel to and return from in 48 hours.
• A team representative must pick up a packet and select the team’s theme and surprise element at Mission
Valley Cinema (2109 Avent Ferry Rd, Raleigh, NC 27606) on Friday, September 9, between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
Completed films will be turned in at the same location between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Sunday, September 11.
WHO: Anyone can participate in the 48 Hour filmSPARK Challenge. (Team rep. must be at least 18 years old.)
HOW: You can draw upon any resources you can muster to make your film. You are only limited by time and
your imagination. Whether you are an amateur or a professional, have access to tons of equipment or just your
friend’s iPhone camera, IT ALL COMES DOWN TO CREATIVITY!
Bring your own team, or if you want to particpate but don't have a team yet, please email margiefresh@hotmail.com and order a single ticket. If you are bringing a team, please select the corresponding # of tickets. The tickets aren't required, but give us an idea of how many people to expect. Thanks!
